A Bronx native and New Jersey resident, Andre Simmons has been a sports fan since he grew up just blocks from Yankee Stadium. He’s written for various hip hop websites, and his entertainment and sports writing routinely inform each other; this reflects the fact that the two worlds routinely intersect, both accidentally and deliberately.
