About Cecilio Rosario

CECILA native of Washington Heights, New York, Cecilio Rosario has an affinity for sports that started back when adjusting the rabbit ears on a tiny black & white TV was a frustratingly regular (yet worthwhile) occurrence. He served as Managing Sports Editor for the Hackley Dial and later The Amherst Student, and went on to receive a Bachelor’s in History from Amherst College in 1998. His writing experience also includes over a decade of crafting advertising copy for major brands. Cecilio’s favorite teams are the New York Jets, Yankees and Knicks; he also swears Tino Martinez’ game-tying home run in Game 4 of the 2001 World Series almost reached his spot in the bleachers.
